The objectives of META Foundation:

• to create and promote a contemporary cultural discourse, with the accent on inter- and multi disciplines, on collaboration between different sciences – mathematics, biology, physics, anthropology  and visual arts – sculpture, media art, installation, photo, video art, performance, dance.
• to promote contemporary Romanian art in both local – regional and European art scene
• to establish regional and European networks of cooperation in the cultural field, allowing a better representation of Romanian contemporary art at the international level and also permitting an opening of the Romanian cultural environment to the evolutions and changes that are taking place on the contemporary art scene.
• to offer the young artists the possibility to express themselves and to present their creations to the audiences

According to its mission, META Foundation manages its activities in multiple directions. Exhibitions of Romanian contemporary art, sculpture symposia, interdisciplinary symposia, workshops – all these actions reunited artists, curators, art critics, managers, mathematicians, literates, anthropologists, biologists from Romania, Serbia, Czech, Poland, Holland, USA ,Great Britain.
